We are a team of visual storytellers comprised of photographers, cinematographers, and creative digital marketers that all share a common passion…we love all things tech and enjoy pushing the limits to discover innovative new ways to tell a story. Our love of creating authentic, engaging content helps our clients achieve their goals by extending their outreach capabilities to build their brand.

Meet the Skydef Productions Team

I am a West Michigan native and lover of all things tech and anything with a motor! I have been blessed with my beautiful wife Heather and three children Ariel, Melina & Trey. When I am not behind the camera or computer, I enjoy spending my free time with them. I can be found in the mountains whenever possible whether it is fishing, hiking, hunting morels, dirt biking, snowmobiling or snowboarding. What I enjoy most about what I do is the opportunity to meet amazing people through our clients and working with a team rife with creative skills to help create amazing content to help our clients achieve their goals.

Drew Orlando Founder

Originally from Connecticut and now living in Dublin, Ireland, my love for landscapes and the natural world has driven my passion for photography since a young age. This passion has transformed over the years into a career in visual design and storytelling. I spend most of my time editing films and weaving stories together, trying to find the essence of whatever the subject of the story may be. When I am not editing, I spend my time exploring Ireland, meeting people, and trying to learn about and understand this special little island.

Stephanie Sammann Creative Director | Editor

I’ve lived the majority of my life in the Rockies. I am originally from Leadville, Colorado, but have inhabited most of the states that run the length of the range. Montana to New Mexico, the beauty and majesty of these mountains continues to astound me almost 50 years later.
After landing in Teton Valley for good in 2001, I’ve managed to corral a wife, raise a couple of great daughters and still get to hit the slopes occasionally. Being able to fulfill my dreams with my family while working on this creative team, in this environment, is a blessing.

Scott Stout Business Development | Idaho

Born and raised in West Michigan along the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. I have a very supportive husband of almost 15 years and 2 daughters, Sydney is 12 and Brynn is 8. Most weekdays you will find me at a soccer field, lacrosse field, basketball court, gymnastics facility or Girl Scout meeting. My girls keep me very busy but in my freetime I enjoy going to the gym, kayaking, boating, traveling and exploring the beautiful seasons we are given here in Michigan. I have been in customer service for 20 years and for almost 4 years I have been running my own small business and am excited to join the SkyDef team.
